Tooth Gone Postal

So my tooth went abcese on me last night...I woke up and I have puffness under my eye on the right side. Gee....I wanted out of work but not like this.

A Recap on Last Week

Morning all~

Was an terrible morning yesterday, but got better in the afternoon. We kicked some butt and I got the banquet orders done for Tuesday so I am a day ahead.

I have a test blog that I try new things out before I go prime time on this and I finally figured out how to set up my web cam. So now I can use web cam on my Blogger blog.

I figured out I must of been PMSing this past week. I am sure hope I am over it and have a better week this coming week. I am hopefully gonna try and give the guys and myself 3 days off over memorial day week. I think we deserve it. It has been hell week around work. Busy time is coming up so I am told. Rest up now while I can.

Needs Some TLC

Guess I have been kind of jelous of the dogs lately. Seems that they have been getting more attention then I have. What is a guy to do? I am off tomorrow and they are going to Jackie's moms so I got the house to myself. Hurray!!!

A Hump Day Rant

It is finally sunny out. After almost a week of rain. I know, nothing on MA or Maine. I have relatives in MA and Maine. I hope they are all still above water. It has been a rough week. I am off tomorrow!!!! HURRRAY!!!!! I can't wait to get stuff done. My lawn really needs mowing badly. I am getting so tired of the stupid shit that is going on at work. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I just can't stand people that can't take the extra 5 minutes to care about things they are doing. I almost on Tuesday had a sharp knive in my hand. I was pulling out table clothes out of the washer into the dryer and found one of those long carving type knives that was used durning brunch on Sunday. Then after pulling stuff out of the dryer I noticed a shinie spot and it was another big carving knive. So if I would of just grabed where the knives where located which I would normally do, the shine of the knive caught my eye first. I would of had a major slice along my hand. I told my boss and he was pissed and brought the hammer down on the banquet department at the morning meeting. Then I am also just tired of the dumb questions that people should already know the answers to and people forgetting what stuff is and just tossing it on the floor instead of putting it in the proper bins where they are dully labeled. Sorry about the rant, but I just have to get this off my chest and on the blog. Maybe I just care overly to much about my job? Maybe I should just not give a shit like everyone else? Naaaahhh, that is the easy way out and who said life is easy. Well, I need to dump some video from the camera to the computer so I can edit it. I will post it soon as I am done editing. A Life Update and Some Shredded Tweat

Life has been very busy here. Work is finally getting busier and I have been finding myself doing later shifts to get stuff caught up. The one thing I do hate when we are so busy is that the banquet wait staff and sometimes set up doesnt take an extra few minutes to stop and think of what they are doing and it makes things in laundry a bit of a mess for us to keep track of. Oh well, guess I have to learn to move away from it and move on. In doggie related news. Carson is on our major shit list right now. I found out from Jackie that he managed at her moms to knock the parekeet cage down and get and one of the birds and kill and eat it. We are both very pissed at him to say the least. I slept most of the day yesterday, I most of been really tired from the last couple of weeks. Although working 54 hours last week made my pay check look really nice this morning when I looked online. Happy early mother's day to all the moms that read my blog.

Syncing My Life

Hi all~ It has been a real long week. Last week I did about 54 hours of work at the hotel. No wonder I was tired. I did do a late shift but wasn't to bad this week. I am looking for something that will sync the laptop to look like my desktop. Also to sync all my pictures and documents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Later all, Richard

Disappointed but Shit Happens

I am rather disappointed right now. My parents just called and told me that David Copperfield just cancelled here in La Crosse. We have tickets too for the 8:30pm show on May 8th. It has been a rough month at work and I was so looking forward to having an evening of fun with my charming wife. David Copperfield was our first official date back in 1992. That is why we celebrate our being together for 14 years on March 18th. She came over to my apartment and I made spaghetti and then went to the show. After the show we had chocolate pudding for desert. Now I guess the paper didn't give a whole explination, but they are trying to rebook the show. So now I guess I have to call the La Crosse Center tomorrow after work and find out what we do with the tickets. Do we return them or do we just hold them untill they reschedule. I am guessing maybe it has something to do with the death of his dad. He may have lots to hold down being he is an only child. I sure hope that something will be rebooked soon. I want to see David again.
